On the auspicious Ganga Jayanti also known as Ganga Sapthami today sharing here "Gangavataran" vintage lithograph print of Chitrashala Press, Pune in my collection. Ganga Sapthami is celebrated on the seventh day (Sapthami tithi) during Shukla Paksh in the month of Vaisakh. It is believed that River Ganga came to earth on this day.
