Divine Tortoise in a Temple photographs

These are photographs of a Divine Tortoise in a temple.

In Hindu mythology Tortoise is very sacred animal. In Dasavatarams of Lord Vishnu there is one Avataram named Kurmavatarm (Kurma - Tortoise). In Srikakulam District of Andhra Pradesh there is one temple named Sri Kurmanadha temple in Sri Kurmam village which is near to Arasavilli temple. According to temple history this temple is linked with Sri Kurma Avataram of Lord Vishnu. In this temple there will be so many tortoises. Even inn Feng Shui also Tortoise is considered as very auspicious like Laughing Buddhar people using Tortoise image also for bringing luck to them.

These are photographs of a Divine Tortoise. I am taking these photographs in Sri Suryanarayana Swamy temple in Gollala Mamida of East Godavari District.
