Lord Satyanarayana Swamy is incarnation of Lord Vishnu and Hindu people obversed Satyarayana Vratam on many auspicious occasions like marriage, house warming ceremony with great devotion. In the Annavaram of East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh state there will be one temple for Lord Satyanarayana Swamy. Every day Satyanarayana Vratams performed by hundreds of devotees in Annavaram temple regularly. In festival times many more vratams performed and there will huge crowd in the temple on festival occasions. People of Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra states have performed this Satyanarayana Swamy vratam on many occasions. People of West Bengal state and some other states also performed this Vratam in their house warming ceremonies.
