Sita Jayanti first day cover in my collection sharing today on the auspicious Janaki Jayanti festival today

On the auspicious Janaki Jayanti, also known as Sita Jayanti or Sita Ashtami celebrated today sharing herewith "Sita Jayanti" first day cover issued by Nepal Philatelic Society which is in my collection. Every year this festival observed on Krishna Paksha Ashtami in the month of Phalguna as per North Indian lunar calendar. In South India and in some other parts as per Amnta Lunar Calendar Janaki Jayanti is observed during Magh Lunar month. On this day, the devotees offer prayers to Goddess Sita by reciting keertans and bhajans.
