This Velakali Martial Dance of  Kerala post card issued by Indian Postal Department on the occasion of releasing a stamp on "Velakali". 

Velakali is a ritual performed in temples in Kerala. It is performed to commemorate the victory of Pandavas over Kauravas. It is basically a martial dance performed to the accompaniment of trumpets, kettle drums and war cries. This Velakali stamp was released on 30th April, 1991.
