This photograph taken with a traditional folk art performer who is playing the character of Lord Narasimha Swamy. I taken this photograph alongwith him at the time of traditional performances during Navaratri festival 9 days. In the golden old days such traditional performances are playing continuously throughout night because at that time people are interested in these traditional intangible art forms. But now-a-days most of the people are paying very less interest on these traditional intangible art forms and due to this reason now we lost almost 90 percent of Intangible Art forms in India. From my side i am trying to documenting these art forms whenever i observed them during festivals and in other occasions.Sharing this photograph today on the auspicious Narasimha Jayanthi festival.
Thank you very much to all for your valuable encouragement. In this blog i am trying to explore Indian Heritage and Culture in various aspects by using the images from my own collection and also from other people collection with their kind permission. If any person or organization think that some of the images which i am using in my blog are relating to their own property and copyright then i request them to intimate me and i remove them immediately from my blog.
