This is Republic Day occasion related vintage invitation card in my collection.
This is THE INDIAN COMMUNITY OF BATU PAHAT (Malaysia) vintage Dinner Invitation Card to Mr. M.A. Meyyappa Chettiar to attend dinner function at No.32, Jalan Rahmat(Chinese Chamber of Commerce) Batu Pahat on Thursday, the 26th January, 1950 at 8 P.M. on the occasion of the inauguration of "THE SOVEREIGN DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF INDIA".
These vintage dinner invitation cards issued by
The Indian Community of Batu Pahat, Malaysia to their guests and dinner was
arranged on the occasion of India become "Sovereign Democratic
Republic" on 26th January, 1950.
This vintage dinner invitation card is a nostalgia
and a historic memorable.
This vintage dinner invitation card is in my
collection. Like this vintage dinner invitation card in my collection i also
have 15 other vintage invitation cards of Maharajas of different princely
states of India (before independence) i.e. their dinner invitation cards, their
children marriage invitation cards etc.
Before independence Maharajas of many princely
states celebrated their events i.e. their birthdays, marriages, dinner parties
etc. in a grand way and for those celebrations they invited many guests by
sending these type invitation cards to the guests.

Vintage Invitation Cards of India
In my collection i have several Vintage Invitation Cards of India. Most of them are Pre Independence period (i.e. before independence) Maharajah's and their Relatives Marriage Invitation Cards etc.
This is Jaipur Club's vintage invitation card of the year 1938 on the occasion of Maharaja of Jaipur at Home on Saturday the 29th January, 1938 at 4 '0 clock.
